State Text: U.S., Europe Share Same Goals, U.S. Envoy to EU Says
Europeans and Americans have many common goals and are "forces for good" in the world, despite some disagreement over U.S. policies in Iraq, the Middle East and various homeland security measures, according to Rockwell Schnabel, U.S. ambassador to the European Union.

I'd like to recommend this article from Slate in which prominent people in politics, the arts, entertainment, business, and other fields to answer the following question: Do you favor a U.S. invasion of Iraq? I really like this sort of pro and con analysis of an issue, and you can tell that most of the respondents gave serious thought to the question.

State:USAID Pledges More Food Aid for Uganda
The United States remains concerned about the security and humanitarian situation in Uganda, and has pledged additional food aid to help meet the needs of people in the northern part of the country, according to Roger Winter, USAID Assistant Administrator for Democracy, Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance.
