Poll Shows Americans Support Military Intervention in Darfur
Taking a break from political convention related news to consider the American response to the humanitarian crisis unfolding in the Sudan. According to this alert from the OneWorld news service, "a recent poll conducted by the Program on International Policy Attitudes (PIPA) showed that most Americans support sending U.S. troops to protect civilian population in Darfur provided other nations contribute 75 per cent of the forces necessary." Should the U.S. send troops to help solve the Darfur crisis?
