Neoimperialism and U.S. Foreign Policy - American Diplomacy
A former American Foreign Service officer decries what he considers the imperialistic tendencies of U.S. foreign policy today. In an essay titled Neo-Imperialism and U.S. Foreign Policy, Louis Janowski argues that the United States should move to reduce its committments abroad because its "decision making and intelligence structures" are inadequate to "run and defend a global presence."
