Rice Era Begins
Condoleezza Rice was confirmed yesterday by the Senate and then sworn in as the new Secretary of State (IHT - Rice takes office after 85-to-13 vote). How will she differ from her predecessor? Take a look at two pieces in Foreign Affairs, one from Colin Powell and the other from Rice, to get a better sense of how their views differ and perhaps some insight into how she will lead the State Department.
